Keeping your team informed about everything is one way to ensure morale doesn’t drop and that you can take on the recession as a team rather than having individuals give up. Make sure you let the right people go as firing a committed and productive worker will only lead to more problems in work flow and morale.

The most important thing to remember when running a business is that the business wouldn’t exist without customers. Whether you’re a multinational corporation or run a company from your spare bedroom, your business is only a business if people buy from you. Treat your customers well and they will stick with you and refer you more business. If you confuse, cheat or disrespect your customers then your business will be over.
